Grants from the private, corporate, foundational or government sectors can be designated to support the overall mission or earmarked for special initiatives.

In-kind grants to Fisherman's Mark have included such items as playground equipment, "child-proof" computers, classroom supplies, arts and crafts materials, vocational training packages, software, clothing, food, health and beauty products, lighting and sound equipment, freezers, refrigerators, and office furniture and equipment.

 

Major Funding

Fisherman's Mark receives generous financial support from individuals as well as corporations and foundations. These funds enable us to continue our mission to assist individuals and families who cannot be served by other social services programs. The Mark has also been the recipient of fundraising events graciously sponsored by local businesses and friends.

Many companies include Fisherman's Mark among those to which employees may contribute through annual workplace giving campaigns. These contributions make an even greater impact when corporations include us as part of their matching gift program. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate support of organizations and causes that are important to employees.
