    * Emergency food supplies (for working poor, those with limited income, under general assistance living in motels, or homeless)

    * Assistance with medically referred dietary plans and food preparation


Clothing and Household Furnishing Services


    * Gather and distribute season-appropriate clothing (particularly cold-weather outer garments)
    * Emergency response in cases of fire or flood


Housing Search and Assistance


    * Tenant and/or landlord information/support services
    * Housing search strategies
    * Tenant responsibility education


Vocational/Educational Services


    * Vocational counseling and support services
    * Job search strategies/skills

Resource Information and Referral Guidelines


    * All services are free to the client or case worker
    * In person or by telephone (collect calls are always accepted)
    * No geographic or financial restrictions


Follow-Up Services


    * Supportive follow through on all services
    * Clients are taught to assume responsibility for and to carry out the necessary processes for the resolution of their situation
    * Staff and volunteers serve as teachers, counselors and “listeners“
